Creation And Research Of Planar Landscape Oil Painting

Oil painting is a major type of painting.It has undergone important changes from the 15 th century to today,21 th century.Oil painting has a different variety of expression methods from classical painting to realism,romanticism,modernism,and postmodernism.The planar form of painting first appeared in prehistoric fine arts.After development,it comes to the impressionism and contemporary Chinese painting.These paintings rich in different themes and the planar landscape painting is just the tip of the iceberg.This paper takes some works from the history of Western art and Chinese art as examples deeply research the planar landscape oil painting creation by focuses on combining the author’s planar landscape oil painting creation,through creation and exploration.This paper includes four chapters.Chapter one briefly describes the development of landscape oil painting,traces the origin of planarization and related concepts.Some modernist masters’ landscape oil paintings with planar language and some contemporary Chinese planar art works are listed.The chapter two enumerates and elaborates the internal and external causes of the formation of planar oil painting,and discusses the practical significance of planar landscape oil painting.In Chapter three,this paper focused on combing the author’s planar landscape painting creation to discussed the techniques and tools for creating planar landscape oil paintings.At the same time,with the author’s work,explored the geometrization,the planarization of composition,and the planarization of color of the planar landscape oil painting.Chapter four describes the author’s feelings and problems encountered in the creative process,such as exploring the connection between planar oil painting and color gamut art.
