In the Qianlong and Jiaqing period,the "textology" was extremely prosperous and became a mainstream academic in the Qing Dynasty.Its auxiliary discipline,epigraphy,also experienced unprecedented development.There were many searching steles and examinations,which promoted the creation of calligraphy art and injected new vitality into calligraphy.With his distinctive artistic characteristics,Yi Bingshou has left a strong stroke in the development of calligraphy.His understanding of calligraphic style of drawing and space structure has reached a new height.At the same time,as a typical character under the influence of Confucian culture,he has been practicing the“Integrity”Confucian aesthetic concept all his life and cursive writing has formed a upright and foursquare art style.Later generations have very high evaluations of his Lishu(an ancient style of calligraphy current in the Han Dynasty),and less discussion of Cursive writings.Among them,He Shaoji ’ s narrative is more exciting,"Cursive script goes beyond the Tang Dynasty".This article takes time as the basic logical clue,based on the historical materials and calligraphy picture materials of Yi Bingshou,and explores the three factors that influence the formation of Yi Bingshou’s Cursive and flat style,the formation process of the flat style,and the influence on the later scholars.First of all,the factors that influence the style include the personality of Confucianism,epigraphy and model of calligraphy for practice,and Lishu style.Secondly,the formation process of the straight style is the most important part of this article.It aims to sort out the different changes of each time node.It focuses on explaining that after the accumulation stage,Yi Bingshou’s Cursive script changed with the elbow method and Yan Zhenqing ’ s calligraphy characteristics as an opportunity.His calligraphy features turned the circle into a square,forming a straight tone of his cursive style.In practice,he continued to deepen the singularity and practice,and turned the circle into a square again.At the age of 59 to 62,he used his own Lishu structure and calligraphic style of drawing in the Cursive script,He calligraphy achieved a high degree of integration between the Lishu and Cursive script.The practice process follows the concept of "to the vast and subtle",first adjusting the large structure,using the unique structure of his Lishu to transform into Cursive script,and then reconcile the components and simplify the internal shape,to obtain a more pure straight style.The last is Yi Bingshou’s influence on other scholars,emphasizing the influence on Chen Hongshou,He Shaoji,and Kang Youwei,discussing He Shaoji’s evaluation of Yi Bingshou and the inheritance the hanging elbow method,and clarifying the calligraphy style of Kang Youwei’s taking Yi Bingshou mourning period,it also uses time,historical data and pictures as clues to illustrate the possibility of Yi Bingshou’s influence on Chen Hongshou. |
