| In Russian "Silver Age" literature,Melezhkovsky’s literary creation has received considerable attention in recent years.His religious exploration in literary form is unique in the Russian "new spiritual philosophy" movement.In his mind,the worship of the "sacred woman" or the Virgin occupies a central place.Women worship in Russian literature has always been an important feature of Russian literature.This is closely related to the worship of the Virgin and the Sophia theology of the Russian Orthodox Church.The "sanctification" of women and the worship of the Virgin have always been noticed by scholars studying Russian literature,religion and culture.In the theology and religious philosophy of Russian Orthodox Church,the concept of god-man occupies an important position.God-man is a two-way movement of man towards God and God towards man.In the process of man’s movement towards God,the Virgin as an ideal model for mankind to get rid of the bondage of original sin and strive to be one with God is widely worshiped.However,whether it is "the sacred woman" or "the Virgin",it appears as a symbol and metaphor in Melezhkovsky’s religious thoughts,and its ideological connotation is not clear and needs to be analyzed and explained.This article analyzes the concept of "sacred woman" in the religious thoughts of Melezhkovsky by comparing Orthodox orthodox theologian Vorowski’s theological theology. |
