A Study Of Zhou Lin’s Flower And Bird Paintings Of The Naxi Ethnic Group

Zhou Lin is one of the representative figures of modern flower and bird painters in Yunnan.He is also a long painter of landscape,flower and bird,and figure,and is known as "poem,book and painting".However,in modern times,the study of yunnan flower and bird painters is mostly wang Jin yuan,Yuan Xiao cen and other exotic flower and bird painters,and there are few native yunnan painters like him.Starting from the literature,this paper combs Zhou Lin’s life and learning experience.Taking the flower-and-bird paintings as the entry point,the thesis studies the themes,thoughts and feelings of different periods,and analyzes zhou Lin’s painting art.This paper discusses the specific style of Zhou Lin’s flower-and-bird paintings and the influence of Naxi culture on his paintings.The subject matter of Zhou Lin’s literati paintings was more common in the early paintings.He inherited the style of zheng Xie and other painters and explored zhou Lin’s works through literature analysis.With yunnan scenery as the main theme in the later period,his works inherited the style of the Sea painting school and gradually formed his own style by collecting materials from sketches to enrich the picture composition and increase the vividity of the modeling.This paper compares zhou Lin’s paintings with those of Ren Bonian and other painters,and concludes the artistic characteristics of Zhou Lin’s flower-and-bird paintings.Finally,by analyzing and demonstrating the cultural elements contained in Zhou Lin’s flower-and-bird paintings,it is concluded that both Han culture and Naxi culture have certain influences on his flower-and-bird paintings.
