Nowadays,with the rapid development of wireless communication technology,the education industry has begun to involve the development of various mobile apps or the use of mobile app design teaching mode to meet the learning needs.However,through literature research,it is found that the current research on the use of mobile app to assist teaching design is generally used in urban schools,while in rural areas,the research on the use of mobile app to assist teaching is still in the exploratory stage.In addition,the author finds that the lack of good habits of preview and review in English learning of rural middle school students leads to low teaching efficiency and poor teaching effect.Moreover,because the parents of students in rural areas have lower education level than those in urban areas,they can’t guide students to study.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to solve some current problems of English Teaching in rural middle schools by constructing the auxiliary teaching mode of mobile app assisted English Teaching in rural middle schools,applying the designed mode,and using mobile app to assist the pre class preview and after class review and consolidation in English teaching.This study combs the current situation and trend of mobile learning research at home and abroad and the teaching design cases combined with app teaching;takes p middle school in Anren County,Hunan Province as an example,investigates the current situation of English teaching through three aspects: teachers,students and parents;conducts preliminary analysis on the research objects,selects appropriate teaching strategies;selects the most appropriate one through platform comparison The teaching environment and teaching resources platform of rural middle school;then according to the design principle,design the mobile app assisted teaching mode which conforms to the current situation of rural middle school.Taking the teaching content of the first volume of the seventh grade of the people’s education edition as an example,a comparative experiment is carried out to study the practical application of mobile app assisted English Teaching in rural middle schools.The results of the pre-test and thepost test were compared with the results of the t-test to verify the effect and draw a conclusion.The results show that: first,the designed mobile app assisted English teaching model in rural middle schools can promote students’ pre-school preview and after-school review,and can effectively improve the efficiency of students’ pre-school preview and after-school review.Second,the designed mobile app assisted English teaching model in rural middle schools can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning,improve teaching efficiency and improve students’ English learning performance.Third,the designed mobile app assisted English teaching model in rural middle schools solves the problem that the parents of students in rural areas can not effectively coach students.
