| In his early years,Liu Yiming studied Confucianism and admired Taoism because of illness.He entered “Dan” from “Yi” and became a famous Yi scholar and inner alchemist in the Qing Dynasty.His knowledge is consistent with the thought of “the same Dandao and Yidao”.He holds that “the Dandao is Yidao,the holy Dao is Xiandao,and the book of changes is not a Book of divination,but a study of perfection to life.” And Dan Dao is the way of life,Yi Dao is the way of Yin and Yang,“the former sage wrote Yi,which will follow the principle of life.” Therefore,this paper takes “life” as the benchmark to discuss Liu Yiming’s theory of Dandao and Yidao.In order to clarify the internal relationship between Liu Yiming’s “Dandao” and “Yidao”,and the value significance of “Dandao is Yidao” to his whole cultivation thought.The paper is divided into five parts.First,in the introduction,from the evolution history of Yi and Nei Dan and the background of Liu Yiming’s study of Taoism,the origin of the relationship between Dan and Yi Dao is sorted out,and the previous research results are summarized,leading to the essence of “Dan Dao is Yi Dao”,which is the relationship between life and Yin and Yang.Second,this paper analyzes Liu Yiming’s biogenesis and the relationship between life and Yin and Yang from the cosmological view of the duality of heaven and earth.Third,from the cultivation of life,this paper analyzes the relationship between life and the use of Yin and Yang.Fourth,through the cultivation of life,we can achieve the combination of form and spirit,the mixture of Yin and Yang,and the combination of life.Thus,the unity of heaven and man can be attributed to the Tao.The way of Dan is the way of change.Fifth,this paper gives a brief overview of the full text,and extends that the way of life is the way of Yin and Yang,and the way of Yin and Yang is the way of life.That is to say,life is the body of Yin and Yang,and Yin and Yang are the use of life,so “Dandao is Yidao”.The thought of “the same Dan Dao and Yi Dao” is the foundation of Liu Yiming’s theory system construction,the outstanding characteristics of his cultivation,and also an important part of his inner Dan cultivation and physical evidence. |
