Exploration On The Application Of Materials In Oil Painting

Throughout the whole history of the art of oil painting,the change of its painting media was accompanied by the change of artistic concepts,aesthetic consciousness and painting techniques.With the spring up of modern art,a new way of painting expression emerged,that is,other painting materials and painting techniques began to be continuously used in oil painting.From the expression differences in oil painting that caused by the application of different materials,the different forms of special value can be found.in this case,as a kind of painting media,the material will cross between the tradition and modern,the mainstream and branches.Whether it is prehistoric cave murals or contemporary paintings,it is undoubtedly that materials play an important role in painting creation.The first part of this thesis would like to study the source of painting materials,its characteristics and its development vertically,then analyze the exploration of oil painting materials and its diversified artistic language in domestic and abroad horizontally.In the second part,the author will analyze the different expressions in painting and special value with the help of specific cases.Then the representative art works and artists are cited as the objects of her discussion for analysis and study.Then the representative art works and artists are cited as the objects of her discussion for analysis and study.Since the ultimate purpose of the study is not only to sort out the changes in the formal language of oil paintings in the long period of time,but to create our own oil painting.In this case,the third part plays an important role in this paper.In this part,the author will try to explore and integrate the oil painting materials through the kite series of creation.First of all,the author would like do some experiments on the materials used in oil painting base and study on it.Then,by studying oil painting material techniques of famous artist,the author will sort out the traditional oil painting material techniques and some representative art works.Last but not least,combinedwith the understanding of life and art,the author will take four groups of original oil painting as examples,to think about the practical application of the oil painting materials,explore her own unique artistic language,so that she can create highly recognizable artistic works.
