In recent years,prosocial behavior has been the focus of social discussion and one of the hot topics in social psychology research.Human’s prosocial behavior is conducive to the establishment of a civilized and harmonious society and meets the requirements of the development of the times.Existing studies have found that there are many factors affect the prosocial behavior,of which perspective taking and empathy are two important factors.However,in previous researches on perspective taking and empathy,most scholars focused on the impact of children’s perspective taking and empathy on children’s social development,but some studies have shown that adult individuals’ perspective taking and empathy are still differences in levels of development.Therefore,there have been few studies on the relationship between the perspective taking and the level of empathy development,especially the level of positive empathy development and prosocial behavior for adults,especially for college students in early adulthood.In this study,college students were used as subjects,and a questionnaire method and an experimental method are used to discuss issues such as the college students’ perspective taking,the difference between two different types of positive empathy on their prosocial behavior,and the relationship with prosocial behavior.There are two main researches in this paper: Research 1 explores the influence of perspective taking and trait positive empathy on prosocial behavior and their relationship;Research 2explores the influence of perspective taking and state positive empathy on prosocial behavior and the three Relationship.The main results of this study are as follows:(1)Whether the college students have adopted perspective taking will lead significant differences in their state positive empathy and prosocial behavior.Under the condition of perspective taking,it will produce a higher state positive empathy and prosocial behavior.(2)There is no correlation between college students’ perspective taking,traitpositive empathy and prosocial behavior,and trait positive empathy are related to prosocial behavior;the college students’ perspective taking,state positive empathy,and prosocial behavior have interrelated relationships between each other.(3)In the relationship between perspective taking,trait product empathy,and prosocial behavior,the influence of college students’ perspective taking on their prosocial behavior is affected by the mediation effect of trait positive empathy.(4)In the relationship between perspective taking,state empathy,and prosocial behavior,the impact of college students’ perspective taking on their prosocial behavior not only need the state positive empath’s partial mediating effect to working,but also exists to some extent direct effect.This study broadens the scope of prosocial behavior research.The results of this study help to understand the perspective selection,the relationship between positive empathy and prosocial behavior,and can provide some theoretical support and practical reference for improving the level of prosocial behavior of individual college students. |
