Research On The Ecological Consciousness In Heihe’s Novels

Heihe’s novels revealed the ecological crisis and survival crisis which minorities in northern China are facing today.Based on relationship between human and nature,human and animal,human and human,he showed the various damage and effects caused by the development of industry and science and technology.Besides,he also examined and criticized the alienated lifestyle of human beings in which money is paramount and desire is paramount in modern society.Through concrete creations,Heihe pointed out that,in order to survive for a long time on the earth,redeeming alienated souls,protecting the ecological environment,and establishing ecological civilization are the only way out.Heihe’s works reflected on the survival status and development trends of the traditional culture of nomadic peoples of Mongolia and Ewenki people in modern society.And then he pointed out the problem of reconstruction of ecological civilization.He affirmed that when facing the ecological crisis,human beings should stick to the contemporary ecological civilization consciousness and traditional spiritual realm which is to respect nature,be compassionate to all things and all beings.From the perspective of respecting the life value of animals and others,humans’ attempts and thoughts to dominate nature should be corrected.He strongly praised those living wisdom which was learned from nature,and called for the harmonious coexistence between human and nature.Through specific texts,this thesis used literature research,intensive reading of texts,mutual verification between literature and history,combination of narration and theory and other research methods.Besides,the thesis also conducted an in-depth analysis about the progressive ecological spirits and ecological ideas in Heihe’s works in order to conduct more comprehensive research and interpretation aiming to Hei he’s ecological consciousness.
