Research On You Mao’s Poems

YouMao had outstanding achievements in poetry and bibliography.In poetry,YouMao ranks as one of the "four great poets" of the southern song dynasty.In bibliography,he pioneered the classification method of recording different editions of books,which had a great influence on later generations of bibliography research.Due to the large loss of YouMao’s poems,for a long time,the research on YouMao in academic circles generally focused on the collection of historical materials and bibliographic research,while the research results on poetry were relatively scarce.Therefore,on the basis of previous studies,this paper hopes to interpret the poetry from the vertical and horizontal aspects and clarify the situation of its poetry creation.This paper is divided into four chapters,the introduction is mainly to introduce the purpose and significance of the research,as well as domestic and foreign research status.The first chapter mainly introduces YouMao’s life experience and social participation.The second chapter mainly introduces the age and stages of YouMao’s poetry creation.Through text analysis,drawing charts and other ways,the author links his poetry creation and his career,which can be roughly divided into early,middle and late periods,and discusses the changes of his poetry style.The third chapter mainly introduces the subject matter of poems,which are mainly divided into landscape poems,historical poems,sentimental poems,political poems and farewell poems.The fourth chapter mainly introduces the poetic origin and artistic characteristics of YouMao.Its poetic origin is related to the jiangxi poetry school and neo-confucianism,while its artistic characteristics are plain and natural,and the characteristics of using classics skillfully.The main innovation of this paper is to put forward the general stages of the poem.Based on the foundation of the predecessors’ poems,this paper divides the poems into early,middle and late periods,and gives a brief summary of the poetry styles of each period.
