This paper selects the language policy of different periods in the Philippines as the research background.By combining the analysis of research in this field with the practice survey,summarize the role of the Philippine language policy in the development of Chinese schools,and analyze the reasons of the formation of Philippine language policy for the Chinese schools.Under the language policy of the new period in the 21stcentury,explore the development of Chinese schools in the Pampanga province of Philippines.Taking Angeles Lip Lin High School as a research case to focus on the development measures of the Chinese School under the language policy of the Philippines in the new period.In turn,the development of the Philippine Chinese School can be reflected in the new period.This paper consists of five aspects as below:1.Describe the history of the four period of the Philippine language policy during the pre-colonization period,the colonization period,the Independence period and new 21st century.2.Review the history of the development of the Chinese School and Chinese Education in the Philippines under the Philippine Language Policy,focusing on the impact of the educational‘Filipinoization’Act on the property,curriculum model,and teaching ideals of the Philippine Chinese School.3.Discussing the promotion or hindrance of the language policies of the Philippines during the colonization period,the independence period and the new period of the 21st century on the historical evolution of Chinese schools,and exploring the influence of the three factors of the continually changing regime of the Philippines,the improvement of the Philippine Chinese economic status and the enhancement of China’s international influence on the adjustment of the Philippine language policy to the Chinese Schools.4.Taking the Pampanga province of the Philippines as an example to analyse and compare the development of three Chinese schools in the Pampanga province,exploring and analyzing the milestone new developments realized by Angeles Lip Lin High School under the Philippine Language Policy in the new period,to propose the future of Chinese schools in changing the direction of educating students and to strengthen cooperation with mainstream society,providing a reference for other Chinese schools in the Philippines to carry out new developments under the new language policy of the Philippines.
