Self-name Research Of Bronze Wares In The Han Dynasty

Bronze ware’s self-name research is an important part of the research on the inscriptions on the bronze wares in the Han Dynasty.This article mainly researches the names of the bronze wares of the Han Dynasty from three aspects: unearthed artifacts,historical records and documents of Song and Qing Dynasty.Compared with the bronze wares of the Pre-Qin,the bronzes of the Han Dynasty are more daily and practical.As a result,many changes have taken place in the names of the bronzes of the Han Dynasty.These changes are mainly reflected in the simplification of the traditional name and the rich adjective before the self-names.and many new self-names have appeared.At the same time,some bronze ware’s self-names are mixed.In view of these new changes,the first focus of this article is Comprehensively sorting out the self-names of the bronzes in the inscriptions on the bronze wares of the Han Dynasty,and conduct indepth research on some names with rich research value.The second focus is on the adjective before the bronze name.The adjective before the bronze name is also an important part of the self-name of the bronze wares of the Han Dynasty.Different adjective not only specify the use of the bronze wares and the distinguished height of the bronze wares,but also sometimes distinguish the material of the bronze wares and the shape of the bronze wares.In addition,the common names and characters associated with the names of the bronze wares in the Han Dynasty were also studied.As the author’s ability is limited,on the basis of comprehensively sorting out the names of the Han Dynasty bronzes wares,the research scope of this article only includes cooking and drinking bronze wares and water bronze wares in the Han Dynasty.At the same time,some very simple names of these bronze,and the names that lack research value are not included in the scope of the study.
