Study On The Relationship Between Life Sense And Relapse Tendency Of Drug Addicts And Intervention

The high relapse rate has always been the difficulty that affects the effectiveness of drug rehabilitation.Studies have shown that sense of meaning of life is closely related to the level of relapsing addicts,therefore,it is necessary to sense the meaning of life and addicts relapsing tendency to investigate,and formulate relevant solutions to improve its level of smoking,in order to help better life addicts,accepting yourself and improve rehabilitation confidence,to return to the family and the ultimate goal of return to society.In this study,the revised questionnaire on the sense of life meaning of drug addicts,the brief version of the big five personality questionnaire and the psychological questionnaire on the relapse tendency of drug addicts were used to investigate the relationship between the sense of life meaning and the relapse tendency of drug addicts.Life meaning group psychological counseling was used to intervene the life meaning and relapse tendency of drug addicts.It is mainly composed of the following five studies.In the first study,project analysis and exploratory factor analysis were used to revise the scale of sense of life meaning of drug addicts,and reliability and validity test of the scale was carried out,so as to provide corresponding measurement tools for subsequent studies.The second study is to investigate the status and characteristics of the sense of life meaning and relapse tendency of drug addicts in compulsory isolation by using the psychological questionnaire on drug addicts’ relapse tendency and the revised sense of life meaning scale of drug addicts.In the third study,the influence of the sense of life meaning and personality characteristics on the relapse tendency of drug addicts under compulsory isolation was further discussed.The fourth study conducted semi-structured interviews with 8 subjects to further understand the factors affecting the relapse tendency of drug addicts from a qualitative perspective.The fifth study is designed on the basis of previous studies to explore the role of group counseling activities in the sense of life meaning and relapse tendency of drug addicts in forced isolation.The results of this study are as follows:(1)the revised life meaning scale for drug addicts has good reliability and validity,including two dimensions: life pursuit,life possession and expectation.(2)the sense of life meaning of drug addicts in compulsory isolation is generally good,and there are differences in demographic variables such as gender,age,only-child status,educational level and years of drug use.The relapse tendency of drug addicts in compulsory isolation was at a medium level,in terms of gender,age,place of origin,educational level,marital status,years of drug use and times of drug withdrawal.There were significant differences in demographic variables such as the number and whether other family members used drugs.(3)the sense of life meaning,personality characteristics and relapse tendency are correlated to each other to different degrees;The significance of life and personality characteristics have significant predictive effects on relapse tendency.Conscientiousness and agreeableness in personality traits play a completely mediating role between the sense of life meaning and the tendency to relapse.(4)the results of the interviews showed that drug addicts’ sense of life significance was generally weak,and other factors affecting drug addicts’ relapse tendency mainly included negative emotions,support from family members,temptation from friends,physical and mental dependence on drugs,cognition of drugs,and expectation of future life.(5)group counseling activities have a good effect on enhancing the sense of life significance of drug addicts and reducing their relapse tendency.
