| "Legend of the Tang Dynasty" is an important field in the study of novels today,but why its research has risen is little known.This article regards the "Legend of the Tang Dynasty" as a model of the "Legend" in the study of the "Four Style" of the novel,that is,a set of concepts on the level of the history of novel history.Process and internal logic,with a view to seeing the modernization of Chinese novels,and then to reflect on the rationality of the current novel research pattern in academia.The introduction of this article mainly explains the research results related to this article,the research ideas and innovations of this article.The main body of the thesis is divided into three parts:The first chapter,"From No help for the testimonials to no help for politics",analyzes three representative novel views of Hu Yinglin of the Ming Dynasty,the Library Secretary of Siku Quanshu of the Qing dynasty,and the "Fiction Revolution in the Late Qing Dynasty.The three targeted Tang legends from different aspects,which roughly reflected the general status of Tang legends’ low status before the modernization of the novel.It is important to note that the "Fiction Revolution" did not directly raise the legend of the Tang,but suppressed the rise of its research.The second chapter,"The Breakthrough of the Legend of Tang Dynasty",sorts out the twists and turns of the rise of Tang Legend status.By looking at a large amount of historical data,we believe that three factors have dominated this process and shaped the basic characteristics of the concept of "Chinese legend".First,the legend of the Tang Dynasty entered the academic history in the form of a "fu opera".Before the rise of the study of novel history,the "Auxiliary Opera" made the Tang legend avoid the cold treatment;after the rise of the study of novel history,this interfered with the determination of the style boundary of novels and operas,and the problem of legendary style attribution remained at least in 1941.Indifferent.Second,the rooting of advanced stylistic short stories in China is an opportunity for the legendary status of the Tang people to rise rapidly.The most important theory wasprovided by Hu Shi and Zheng Zhenduo.Hu Shi took the lead and promoted the internal differentiation of "note style" and "legendary style" in "short stories";Zheng Zhenduo continued to incorporate the legends of the Tang Dynasty into "broadly defined short stories" based on Hu Shi’s definition of "short stories".Third,the status of Liao Zhai Zhi Yi in the modernization of the novel continues to rise,benefiting the Tang legend.Due to the literary skills of Tang Dynasty in Liao Zhai Zhi Yi,the legend of Tang Dynasty is also highly regarded.The third chapter,"The Establishment of Fiction History Status and Research Progress",examines the construction and research trend of "Legendary Style".This article shows two ways of constructing the "Legendary Style".One is based on comparative literature research methods,and the Chinese "Legend" is constructed by referring to the concept of romance in the West.Representatives are Yan Guwen and Chen Jingxin.The other is historical research methods.Mainly,although influenced by the West,he respects the local historical facts and uses the legendary works of the Tang Dynasty and his later generations to construct a "legendary Style",represented by Lu Xun.After Lu Xun’s A Brief History of Chinese Novels was published,he was soon regarded as authority figure.The "radical westernization school" represented by Zheng Zhenduo transformed Lu Xun’s concept of "Legend of the Tang Dynasty" and promoted it to the peak.This "Zheng Zhenduo model" had a profound impact.In view of this,the "conservative retro school",represented by Pu Jiangqing,issued a reflective microtone.The concluding part of this article judges the nature of the rise of the "Legend of the Tang Dynasty" research,summarizes the main crux of the study of Legend of the Tang Dynasty in today’s academic circles,and puts forward its own suggestions for future research. |
