Folk festivals are an important part of intangible cultural heritage in China.Their inheritance and promotion are of great significance for establishing the cultural awareness and confidence of the Chinese nation and forging the sense of the Chinese nation community.Qima’s day,a local folk festival that prevails in the rural areas of northern Sichuan.It originated in Gongxing Town,Nanchong City,Sichuan Province.Qímá is a Sichuan dialect and refers to a frog.According to legend,during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,a frog plague broke out near Gongxing Town.In order to drive away the plague,Gongxing people will make a bamboo lantern and send it to the river bank to pray for family health on the 14 th lunar month of each lunar year.In 2011,Gongxing Qima’s Day was included in the list of intangible cultural heritage in Nanchong City.The joining of local governments has enriched the festival’s cultural transmission model,and also brought new inheritance and evolution from the connotation to the extension of festival culture.To study the current status of the festival’s cultural transmission through literature analysis,field investigation,ect.and the purpose is to explore the development of festival culture in the new period.The protection of festival culture lies in the inheritance of cultural connotation,and it is necessary to realize the effective propagation of culture under the organic combination of new communication modes.The government-sponsored Qima’s day has gone through nine years since 2011,thereby updating the propagation path of festival culture,expanding the scope of festival culture,and ensures the transmission of festival core values.At the same time,issues such as homogenization of cultural content,lack of cultural subject function,fragmentation of cultural memory construction,and shifting of cultural connotations have emerged during the cultural transmission of the festival.In the new era,to realize the effective transmission and inheritance of folk festival culture,we need to pay attention to the "Qi" of innovative festival culture,construct correct and meaningful cultural symbols,and create a typical folk cultural environment.And also pay attention to inheriting the connotation of the "Tao" of festival culture.Tell the story of festival history through innovative cultural activities.The development of festival customs should highlight localization and its key content.Multi-party co-construction of the festival culture’s memory space.Give full play to the respective communication advantages of locals,tourists,and the government to create a common memory space to achieve emotional resonance and enhance the cohesiveness of the festival culture. |
