Hypothetical Reality

In this paper,in view of the phenomenon of "speaking in pictures" of commemorative sculptures in China,the question of how to use the ontology language of sculptures in commemorative sculpture creation to achieve artistic appeal is brought forward,and the use of "hypothetical" in commemorative sculpture creation is introduced.Commemorative sculptures are roughly divided into two categories: 1.Representing someone or something 2.Calling the future by someone or something.Hypothetical techniques are prominently used in the creation of the second category of monuments.Therefore,this article uses “hypothetical” as a clue and analyzes specific commemorative sculptures as examples to try to clarify the concept of “hypothetical” and comb the “hypothetical” techniques and Summarize,exaggerate and symbolize the relationship of modeling techniques,analyze their respective roles in the process of conveying abstract concepts in the work,aiming to emphasize the importance of artistic appeal for commemorative sculptures.
