A Study Of The Rhetorical Effects Of Word Conversions In Tang Poetry

As one of the representatives of the Tang Dynasty literature,the status of Tang poetry in the history of Chinese literature cannot be ignored.The status of Tang poetry has a great relationship with the beauty of Tang poetry,and the beauty of Tang poetry is largely derived from the language of Tang poetry.At present,there are many studies on the language beauty of Tang poetry,but there are few studies on the rhetorical effects of word conversions in Tang poetry.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the beauty of Tang poetry from the rhetorical effect of word conversions.This thesis takes "Three Hundred Tang Poems" as the main source of corpus,starting from the specific word conversions in various types of words,and studying the rhetorical effect of word conversions in Tang poetry: Making the language dynamic;making the language subtle,leaving the readers with imagination;making the sentence vivid,full of picture;streamlining the sentence,expressing the meaning of the sentence fully;adding the interesting taste of the sentence;showing the inner feelings of the poet truly and so on.In addition,at the end of the paper,the subjective and objective causes of the rhetorical effects of this kind of phenomenon in Tang poetry are also discussed roughly.
