| As the founder and the main advocate of the discipline of comparative literature in China,since the early 1980s,Yue Daiyun has been committed to the creation of Chinese comparative literature course,the method of development,the building of Academic Teams,the training of graduate students.Her academic vision has always been rooted in the fertile soil of Chinese culture,and keep up with the frontier theory of international comparative literature.She focuses on shaping the subjectivity of Chinese comparative literature,at the same time,comparative literature was defined as the study of cross-cultural and interdisciplinary lit-erature.Such a definition made Chinese comparative literature full of academic vitality and in-clusiveness.This paper starts from the history of comparative literature.Using the Theory of Cross-cultural Literature,it combines ontology,epistemology and methodology,and explai-n the cross-cultural theory of Yue Daiyun from three levels.At the same time,with the help of the research model of keywords,discussed the theoretical basis and of Yue’s research.The first part begins with the rise of Chinese comparative literature,tries to comb the backgro-und of the development of Chinese comparative literature,and focus on Yue Daiyun’s academic development from comparative literature to cross-cultural research.The second part focuses on the cross-cultural methodology system of Yue Daiyun,and highlights her humanistic concern for today cultural realities.These part conveys the openness of Yue Daiyun’s study and her sensitivity to scholarship.The third part shows her latest academic research development since the 21stcentury and summarizes the key role that Yue Daiyun played.This part vividly embodies Yue Daiyun’s good wishes for comparative literature and cross-cultural research and for building a community of human destiny.That makes Chinese comparative literature appear on the international stage.Yue Daiyun provides a typical example for constructing cross-cultural discourse system with Chinese characterristics. |
