On July 4,2015,the tusi site,which consists of the laosheng site in yongshun,hunan province,hailongtun site in guizhou province and tusi site in tangya,hubei province,was listed as the 48 th world cultural heritage site in China.Prior to this,in order to more comprehensive display of the history and culture of the city,fully reflect the cultural charm of the city.The hunan institute of cultural relics and archaeology conducted scientific archaeological excavations on the laosicheng site,and unearthed a large number of cultural relics and a variety of species,in addition to unearthed a large number of ceramics,brick carvings,also unearthed a large number of building components tiles and water.In this paper,the tiles and water drops unearthed from the laosicheng site are taken as the research objects,and they are analyzed and studied.On the basis of the existing excavation reports and briefs,a comprehensive collection and collation of data has been made:According to the classification of tile and drop,and the analysis of their age,ornamentation characteristics and distribution characteristics,it is concluded that most of the tile and drop ages were concentrated in the middle and late Ming dynasty,and relatively few were found in the early Ming dynasty and early middle qing dynasty.The ornamentation is mainly divided into two categories: animal grain and plant grain.Among them,the animal grain,dragon grain and lotus grain are the main patterns.They are mainly distributed in the living area,followed by the yamen area,streets,tombs and religious areas found relatively few tiles and water.Through these studies,the relationship between time period characteristics,decorative themes and architectural functions is investigated.Finally will be the old city ruins unearthed eaves tiles,dripping with dragon relics unearthed eaves tiles,drop comparing research,the analysis of the two sites lotus pattern eaves tiles and drop of water is relatively popular,and most distribution in toast noble residential areas,reflects the central government to the unified jurisdiction and produced great influence of the central plains culture,the influence of the cultural factors on the dual outweigh the regionality.
