Classical Chinese poetry is an important part of excellent Chinese traditional culture.Classical Chinese poetry has moral value and can be used in contemporary moral education.It is necessary to apply it to contemporary moral education.The necessity of its application in contemporary moral education lies in the following two aspects: first,it contains profound and rich moral concepts,and it is a new moral education resource that can be used.The use of Classical Chinese poetry is a new resource of moral education in traditional culture.Second,Classical Chinese poetry can play a role in integrating aesthetic education into moral education.The aesthetic value embodied in the Classical Chinese poetry is: showing a rich image of beauty;having an emotional way of expression;having a unique rhythm format.These three factors play a unique role in moral education.There are five kinds of moral concepts in the Classical Chinese poetry,which are from the excellent Chinese traditional culture: "loyalty to the nation","the feelings of benevolence to the people","the unremitting pursuit of social justice","the cultivation of good and sincere interpersonal relationship","the persistence of high personality".These five kinds of moral concepts can be consistent with the contemporary moral concepts and the core values of Chinese socialism.The significance of aesthetic education value of Classical Chinese poetry to moral education and the specific moral concept carried by Classical Chinese poetry are the moral education value of Classical Chinese poetry.The moral value of Classical Chinese poetry is the focus of this paper.In addition,this paper also explores the application of Classical Chinese poetry in contemporary moral education.
