| It is significant to promote the fair and equitable development of society through the focus on the interests of minorities.As one of the minorities,homosexuality may be experiencing injustice and self-identity frustration.However,people even make irrational judgment as to blame homosexuality for suffering from the injustice treatment.Current researches are still blank related to this area.Therefore,this thesis starting from the phenomenon of homosexual injustice,combined with the individual’s belief in a just world to study the impact of irrational judgment on the homosexuality stereotype.With the enlightenment of previous literature,this thesis took college students as the research object,including one preliminary experiment and three formal experiments.Through an open-ended questionnaire survey on the performance of homosexual injustice in the preliminary study,three types of threat as right injustice,opportunity injustice and interaction injustice were found.In Study 1,two experiments were conducted to explore whether the threat of injustice had an impact on explicit and implicit stereotypes of homosexuality.The results showed that(1)Explicit stereotypes tend to be positive,while implicit stereotypes tend to be negative.(2)The threat of injustice influences on explicit homosexuality stereotype of college students,showing that positive stereotype decreases,while not turning to negative;and it has no effect on implicit stereotype.In Study 2,the belief in a just world was introduced to further explore how the types of the threat of injustice and the degree of belief in just world would affect explicit homosexuality stereotypes.The results showed that:(1)The types of the threat of injustice have an impact on explicit homosexuality stereotypes,and the least positive stereotypes are showed under the threat of interaction injustice.(2)College students’ belief in a just world have an impact on explicit homosexuality stereotypes.The higher the degree of belief in a just world,the less positive the explicit homosexuality stereotype is.(3)There is no interaction between the types of the threat of injustice and the degree of belief in a just world. |
