On The Relationship Between Calligraphy And Painting And Its Application In My Creation

The relationship between calligraphy and painting is an important issue in the history of Chinese art.Since the Tang Dynasty,yan yuan Zhang put forward the theory of calligraphy and painting relevance in the Painting Historical System and Historical Theory.Painters of different dynasties have written down their own thoughts and understandings on this issue and enrich this theory.This issue has received so much and sustained attention which shows its important position in Chinese painting.This article starts from the theoretical analysis of the relationship between calligraphy and painting in the Painting Historical System and Historical Theory.From the original attention about the common method of holding writing brush,to the relationship between calligraphy and painting ’s method of the use of ink and water,calligraphy rules and painting composition,aesthetic level and so on.We have an one-to-one correspondence thorough analysis.We can discover their common ground and differences in the more fields.Based on this version,we select some painters with outstanding characteristics in these aspects and have a further analysis about their painting.In order to be more specific and more confirmation from the works,calligraphy and painting have a lot in common in the method of using ink and water.Calligraphy rules and painting have a lot in common in composition and aesthetic level aspects.Calligraphy and painting are sister flowers of Chinese art.The skills and requirements of calligraphy in the method of the use of ink and water,the common method of holding writing brush,calligraphy rules and painting composition,aesthetic level aspects,have a lot of inspiration for painting.Some painters of different dynasties have paid attention to this point and actively explore and apply and open up a new painting style,which greatly improved the artistry of their painting.Through the study of these painting with representative figures in these aspects,we have a more detailed and deep grasp of the specific application of the relationship between calligraphy and painting.All of these are good for our painting creation.In my daily work,I had made a deeper understanding of calligraphy and painting.These would applied to the final specific graduation painting creation.At the same time,add new elements of modern aesthetics,to improve my painting level.
