After entering modern times,China and Korea were forced to embark on a semi-colonial road in the face of aggression by the powers. While the Meiji Restoration of Japan, while moving towards modernization,it also moved towards the path of foreign aggression, gradually becoming the greatest threat to China and Korea. In the complex and ever-changing situation in Northeast Asia, the relationship between China,Korea,China,Japan, and Korea is more complicated.Faced with such a huge crisis and challenges, people of insight in China and Korea are actively exploring the road to national salvation. To this end, they have put forward various suggestions and proposals to try to save the crisis.Zhang Jian is a famous representative of the constitutional school in modern China and one of the representatives of the gentry class in modern China.Zhang Jian developed a certain understanding of Korea through his trip to Korea..In 1882,Korea broke out during the Renwu mutiny. In July,Zhang Jian accompanied Wu Changqing to the Korean rebellion.During the period of the rebellion,Zhang Jian handled many Korean affairs for Wu Changqing, and made many suggestions and suggestions. After Zhang Jian stationed in Korea for more than a year,he made friends with literati in Korea and paid for his poetry. In this process,Zhang Jian paid attention to Korean affairs, formed an understanding of the Korean crisis, and wrote many manuscripts including "The Six Strategies for the Aftermath of Korea." "The Six Strategies for the Aftermath of Korea" is Zhang Jian’s proposal for Korea’s reform after the Renwu War of the Koreans. The political, economic, and military aspects of the proposal are separately elaborated:politically, talents are needed to be thorough, and rectify Government officials were used to reduce redundant officials and staff;economically recruiting refugees to reclaim wasteland, there by increasing the national treasury and reducing the harshness of the people;military reform of the military system to train troops and strengthen the coastal defense to protect the enemy. After Japan sent troops to Korea in the year of Jiawu, and endangered China by the crisis caused by this incident,Zhang Jian also wrote "Due to the Public Affairs of Korea",and proposed countermeasures to the Qing government. There are four main aspects:1.Announcement to various countries and the name of the vassal;2.Enabling generals and naming the navy;3.Don’t choose strange soldiers, strictly guard the Nan yang, and increase the soldiers to the North; In particular, the Qing government must be firm in its warfare during the battle and not make peace easily. As the current situation changes,Zhang Jian’s understanding of Korea has shown increasingly deeper characteristics, especially in understanding the Korean affairs from the internal connection and changes in subordinate relations between china and Korea, and the suggestions put forward are increasingly characterized by closely linking China and Korea.Zhang Jian’s understanding of the Korea is closely related to changes in the current situation, and has strong practical rationality and pertinence. There are also limitations under various factors. In the final analysis,it representatively shows the Chinese patriotic gentry’s concerns about the surrounding situation and the related crisis in China caused by the latter half of the nineteenth century, and how to resolve them.
