Zhang Xiaotian graduated from the history department of Northeast Normal University,and his work as a screenwriter at Changchun Film Studio is almostall abouthistory.Zhang Xiaotian’s historical novels follow the historical reality,and conduct artistic processing of historical facts around the creation principle of sevenpoints of historical facts,three points offiction.Based on Taiwan’s first governor Liu Mingchuan as the research object,by analyzing the writers creation concept,characters of the novel and the novel textvalue,Zhang Xiaotian’s historical novels of historical figures in order to do justice to a life of glorious deeds,carry forward the history gives us a strong patriotic cohesion and time less great patriotic national spirit,showing the engraving of glorious history.This paper is divided into five parts,the first part is an introduction,introducing Zhang Xiaotian’s historical novels,historical figure Liu Mingchuan and other research status quo,as well as the research purpose,method,significanceof this paper and so on.The second part combines the text analysis Zhang Xiaotian’s creation idea.In a political discourse to strengthen,Zhang’s historical novel Taiwan’s first governor Liu Mingchuan creation concepts coincides with the national mainstream ideology in a certain extent,by writing the history of the grand historical implication,restoring historical truth,the pursuit of historical truth andarts fiction.This paper carrys forward the patriotic national spirit.Zhang Xiaotian shows a positive enterprising,solidarity,and maks great efforts to national unity.The third part analyzes the characters in the novel.The style of the characters in the novel is different due to gender.Un der the feudal autocratic system,men regard the feudal ethics as the moral code and respect the three cardinal principles and the five constants.Most of the male characters are loyal and patriotic,they could go through fireand water for the country.Zhang Xiaotian pays great attention to the charm of women’s personality.In the novel,women rebel against the feudal doctrines,and advocate to express their inner feelings and advocate freedom and democracy.The interweaving of male and female images for a three-dimensional and complex figure diagram,which perfectly presents the value of the novel and enables the characters to reveal the glory of human nature,the spirit of he nation and the flavor of The Times in historical events.The fourth part analyzes the textual value of Zhang Xiaotian’s historical novel Liu Mingchuan,the first governor of Taiwan.Zhang Xiaotian’s writing style is different from that of main stream literature.He doesn’t care whether he hovered the edge of mainstream literature and still creates according to hisownstyle.Through the study of the text is conducive to master the historical context of Zhang Xiaotian’s novels,the novel explores the tremendous energyand containes in history and grasp the cultural connotation endowed by history and to actively apply ittopractice.The fifth part is the conclusion of this paper.This novel describes Liu Mingchuan’s great achievements during his stay in Taiwan and his great contribution to the modernization of Taiwan.The novel is a true representation of historical events so that the public cantruly understand the historical connotation and explore the value given to us by history from historical events,characters and conduct rational thinking on history.At the same time,the novel Liu Mingchuan,the first governor of Taiwan is conducive to promoting Taiwan’s economic development,ethnic unity,enhancing the cohesion of the Chinese nation,and providing greference value for social development and the progress of The Times.
