Abstract/Summary:
Since the Middle Ages,Jiangnan area has gradually become the humanistic roots of China, especially in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, where merchants converged and merchants gathered together. However, between the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the south of the Yangtze River suffered from serious war.Especially when the Qing army went south,in order to save their lives or avoid the conscription of the New Dynasty, many literati chose to avoid the countryside from the prosperous city, thus forming the space movement of literati from the city to the countryside in a certain period of time This trend of flow has a wide range of influence, mainly occurring in the late Ming Dynasty,Jiashen,Yiyou,C Xu and other important historical nodes. In terms of spatial scope, there is a trend of literati moving to the countryside at many levels, such as prefecture, county, town and so on.From the direction of literati’s flow, there are different choices of towns, villages and countryside. With the change of living environment of literati, their daily life and literary creation will also change. It is manifested in daily behavior habits, not only the continuation and nostalgia for the past life, but also the abandonment and alienation, showing a complex and even contradictory state. Some scholars still pursue elegance,Association and gathering, and traveling in the mountains and rivers;others choose to stay out of doors, not to ask the world, and live in seclusion for the rest of their lives. From the point of view of literati’s poetry creation, the surge in the number of literati living in villages has promoted the prosperity of rural poetry creation.Although the suffering of breaking up the Kingdom and the tragedy of Li people’s exile have impacted their inner world, they have also provided inspiration and material for their creation. In terms of literary features, there are two distinct interests:one is to reflect the social reality of the time with a strong plot of accession to the Statecraft;the other is to put oneself out of the current affairs with a relatively open-minded idea of birth. These two different tenets of poetry are not entirely contradictory and contradictory, and they often appear in literati’s works together with the change of time and space. On the other hand, the creation of many literati living in the countryside belongs to the result of the small regional tradition.Compared with the mainstream poetry circles in the early Qing Dynasty, the village literati also maintained certain autonomy and independence in the actual creative process. Therefore, the study of Jiangnan literati’s living conditions and poetry works in the countryside in the early Qing Dynasty can help us better understand the details of their private life and the psychological process of literary creation,so as to explore the overall style of poetry in the early Qing Dynasty.
