Language expression pursues efficiency and coherence.Rely on the context to determine the specific reference,Chinese demonstrative pronouns "Zhe、Na" perform important functions of deixis and cohesion.When in use,they have high frequency,complexity and flexibility,and they are learning difficulties for Korean Chinese as a second language learners.Firstly,this paper compares Chinese and Korean demonstrative pronouns "Zhe、Na" horizontally,and summarizes the similarities and differences in system,semantics,frequency of use and textual functions from the perspective of interlingual contrast.Secondly,this paper analyzes Korean learners’ acquisition types of demonstrative pronouns "Zhe,Na" in Jinan University’s written corpus of foreign students,and compares the related statistics of "Zhe、Na" usage between Korean Chinese as a second language learners and Chinese natives In general,there is still a gap between the performance of Korean Chinese as a second language learners and Chinese native speakers.However,it can be seen that in most usages,with the improvement of Chinese level,Korean Chinese as a second language learners are slowly catching up with Chinese native speakers.This paper further analyzes Korean Chinese as a second language learners’error of demonstrative pronouns "Zhe、Na",and summarizes different types of error:when "Zhe、Na" combined with quantitative structures;mixture of words inside and outside the demonstrative pronoun system and so on.These errors are related to negative language transfer,improper learning strategies,lack of discourse awareness,insufficient attention from teachers and so on.Combining research results of the first three parts,this paper puts forward suggestions from several perspectives:theoretical research,teaching materials,and teaching and learning methods.In terms of theoretical research,based on the existing research results,the follow-up research should focus on common collocations of Chinese demonstrative pronouns,relatively refined and iconic distinguishing features between"Zhe" and "Na",inside "Zhe" or "Na",and between " Zhe、Na" and other words,as well as the non-correspondence of demonstrative pronouns in Chinese and Korean.In terms of teaching materials,based on problems in the textbooks,this paper puts forward suggestions like establishing the concept of near and far demonstrative pronouns in initial teaching,"Zhe"and "Na" appearing in pairs,strengthening the explanation of common collocations,highlighting the characteristics of textual cohesion in practice,strengthening the study of textbooks for Korean students and so on.In terms of teaching,this paper suggests that teachers cultivate students’discourse awareness,apply research results to highlighting the pertinence and difficulty in teaching,reach a balance between interpretation and practice,innovate practice types and so on.This paper also proposes Korean Chinese as a second language learners making use of posutive transfer of mother tongue and realizing the differences between Chinese and Korean demonstrative pronouns to avoid negative transfer of mother tongue at the same time.Various usages,types,collocations of Chinese demonstrative pronouns and connections inside and outside are also important.And also,Korean Chinese as a second language learners are advised to reinforce learning to avoid negative transfer of target language and adopt reasonable learning methods and strategies.
