With the social transformation of our country and the re-implementation of the policy of religious freedom,Folk religion,despite once broken,has been rapidly restored.During the transformation of society,rethinking the positive function of folk beliefs,it is a problem worthy of further study.In this context,the role of folk beliefs played in che field of Social Integration has been highlighted.Through in-depth fieldwork,I obtained a wealth of field data.Based on thefield-workmaterials,we attempt to analysis the relationship between folk belief and Social Integration.Furthermore,the paper also attempt to present the mechanism of community integration which folk belief makes.Thesis is divided into five parts:The introduction part presents the study of the origin,purpose and meaning.The first chapter briefly describes the basic situation of the survey point of this article.The second chapter borrowed niche theory to explain the two kinds of gods within the same temple how can live in harmony.The third chapter elaborates the related practice of renwang worship and ancestor worship,to provide detailed material to analysis in chapter Ⅳ.In the fourth chapter,we divide belief into two levels(spiritual levels and action level)to explore the role of folk belief played in the community integration.The last part is the conclusion of this article.The shangwubao area,although there are two belief systems,but not fragmented among various belief systems,but coordinated,complement each other,work together to promote social integration in shangwubao area.Through field work and literature study,paper analysis that all faith how to coordinate with each other under the multi-faith environment,and the faith how to play a role on social integration of the community.But also,the paper provides materials to verifying the role of folk beliefs played on Social Integration.
