Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Chronic Cerebral Ischemic Vertigo By Invigorating Qi And Activating Blood Circulation

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect and safety of invigorating qi and activating blood circulation on chronic cerebral ischemic vertigo.Methods: A simple randomized,controlled study was conducted,and 60 patients who met the criteria were included in the control and treatment groups,respectively,with 30 cases in each group.The patients in the two groups continued to treat the underlying diseases,the control group was given Betahistine Mesylate Tablets,and the treatment group was given Betahistine Mesylate Tablets combined with Yiqi Huoxue herbal powder,and the course of treatment in both groups was 30 days.The high incidence age,sex composition,course of disease,clinical efficacy,safety indicators,as well as TCM symptom score,vertigo disorder scale score,some hemorheological and coagulation parameters,transcranial ultrasound Doppler mean blood flow velocity and other data were observed.Results:1.Analysis of basic data: In the gender composition of patients,males were significantly more than females.The age was mainly concentrated around 70 years.The course of the disease is usually months to two years.2.Clinical efficacy: At 14 days and 30 days,the effective rate of treatment was better than that of the control group.3.TCM symptom score and DHI score: the two groups of patients were compared,P< 0.01;after the end of treatment,the treatment group was compared,P < 0.01,the treatment group had a better effect.4.Primary and secondary symptom scores: In the control group,only the primary symptom scores were reduced.The treatment group also improved the primary and secondary scores,and the effect was better.5.Hemorheology and coagulation function: Compared with the control group,there was no obvious effect on high shear viscosity,low shear viscosity and fibrinogen,but it showed an improvement effect on plasma viscosity.There were significant differences in the four indicators within the treatment group,which were superior to those in the control group.6.Transcranial Doppler: No definite effect was shown in terms of anterior cerebral artery in both groups.The control group also showed no significant effect in the middle cerebral artery.Comparison within the treatment group showed significant differences in the middle cerebral artery,posterior cerebral artery,and basilar artery,and were superior to the control group.7.Safety evaluation: No exact adverse reactions were observed throughout the treatment in both groups.There were no significant changes in vital signs,routine liver and kidney function,ECG and other safety monitoring indicators.Conclusion: Betahistine mesylate tablets alone have a certain effect in the treatment of chronic cerebral ischemic vertigo and the treatment of invigorating qi and activating blood circulation,but the latter can more effectively reduce the TCM symptom score and vertigo disorder score,improve hemorheology and hypercoagulable state,increase cerebral perfusion,relieve symptoms,treat both the symptoms and the root causes,is simple and effective,safe and reliable.
