Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Men’s Longbi (Spleen And Kidney Deficiency Syndrome) With The Method Of Supporting Earth To Control Water

Objective:Through the observation of the clinical efficacy of the syndrome improving of the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine with the traditional Chinese medicine decoction,which is followed by the method of supporting Earth to control Water,combined with the tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained-release capsule in the treatment of spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome to prove that the treatment of men’s Longbi(spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome)with the method of supporting Earth to control Water has clinical value.And these conclusion could not only provide ideas for TCM medicine for men’s Longbi,but also laid the foundation for the later TCM exploring the mechanism of treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.Methods:A clinical randomized controlled design was adopted to select 72 Longbi patients with spleen and kidney deficiency type from the geriatrics and urology wards,and the patients were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group for observation and research,with 36 cases in each group.The test group used traditional Chinese medicine oral decoction(Lizhong Tang and Gualouqumai Wan plus or minus)(3 times/day)and tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained-release capsules(1 time/day),and the control group took tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained-release capsules alone(1 time/day),both take 2 weeks as a course of treatment,and take 4 consecutive courses of treatment.Through the use of TCM syndrome points,international prostate symptom score(IPSS),quality of life score(QOL),the size of the prostate and bladder residual urine volume change of the evaluation difference before and after treatment in both groups,we could get the conclusion,and these conclusion could not only provide ideas for TCM medicine for men’s Longbi,but also laid the foundation for the later TCM exploring the mechanism of treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.Results:Before treatment,the two groups were compared in terms of age,TCM syndrome points,International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS),Quality of Life Score(QOL),prostate size and bladder residual urine volume.After statistical analysis,there was no significant difference between the two groups which makes them comparable.Age: test group mean age was(74.47 ± 5.23)years old,the average age of the control group was(75.33 ± 6.01)years old.TCM syndrome points : After treatment,the points in the two groups were significantly reduced(P<0.05),suggesting that both the test group and the control group have a certain effect.After analysis and treatment,the difference between the groups suggested that there was a significant difference between the two(P<0.05),and the test group was better than the control group overall.International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS): After treatment,the scores in the two groups were significantly reduced(P<0.05),suggesting that both the test group and the control group have a certain effect.After analysis and treatment,the difference between the groups suggested that there was a significant difference between the two(P<0.05),and the test group was better than the control group overall.Quality of Life Score(QOL): After treatment,the scores in the two groups were significantly reduced(P<0.05),suggesting that both the test group and the control group have a certain effect.After analysis and treatment,the difference between the groups suggested that there was a significant difference between the two(P<0.05).Prostate size: After treatment,the size in the two groups was not significantly different from that before treatment(P>0.05),and the difference between the two groups after analysis and treatment showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Bladder residual urine volume: After treatment,the residual urine volume of the two groups decreased(P<0.05),suggesting that both the test group and the control group have a certain effect.After analysis and treatment,the difference between the groups indicated that there was no significant difference between the two(P>0.05).Efficient: The clinical efficacy analysis shows that the test group has an effective rate of 100%,while the control group has an effective rate of 91.7% and an ineffective rate of 8.3%.After analysis and treatment,the difference between the groups indicated that there was no significant difference between the two(P>0.05).Research conclusions:The test group and the control group have achieved good results in improving the TCM syndrome point,IPSS,QOL and residual urine volume of patients,but the prostate volume before and after treatment did not change significantly between the two groups,and there was no significant difference in the total effective rate of treatment..In terms of clinical efficacy and safety,the effects of the experimental group and the control group are roughly equivalent.Compared with the control group,the experimental group has better curative effect in the later stage of treatment,lower recurrence rate,and more obvious improvement in the quality of life of patients.Therefore,it is safe and effective to treat men with Longbi(spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome)with the method of supporting Earth to control Water,and has clinical application value.
