| Objective: Explore the expression of ATF3 in breast cancer tissues and its clinical significance. Methods: Selected from January 2016 to December 2016,fresh specimens of tumor tissue and paracancerous tissue specimens and histopathological sections of 66 patients diagnosed pathologically and undergoing radical mastectomy for breast cancer were selected and clinical pathological data of the patients were collected.RT-q PCR method was used to detect the relative expression of ATF3 m RNA in breast cancer and adjacent tissues;immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of ATF3 in breast cancer and adjacent tissues, and Spearman correlation coefficient and Cox regression model were used to analyze ATF3 The relationship between expression level and clinicopathological factors and prognosis. Results: The results of RT-q PCR showed that the relative expression of ATF3 m RNA in breast cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues.Compared with adjacent tissues, the mi RNA expression of ATF3 in breast cancer tissues was 2.773 times that of adjacent breast tissues, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of immunohistochemistry showed that the expression of ATF3 in breast cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues;Spearman correlation analysis showed that the high expression of ATF3 was positively correlated with the clinicopathological stage, lymph node metastasis, histological grade, and Ki67 expression of breast cancer, and was positively correlated with HER-2 expression and P53 expression are not correlated;Cox single factor and multivariate regression analysis models show that high ATF3 expression is an independent risk factor that determines the prognosis of breast cancer patients. Conclusion: The expression of ATF3 in breast cancer tissues is higher than that in adjacent tissues. And the high expression of ATF3 is positively correlated with the clinicopathological stage, lymph node metastasis, histological grade, and Ki67 expression of breast cancer, but has no correlation with HER-2 expression and P53 expression.High expression of ATF3 is an independent risk factor that determines the prognosis of breast cancer patients. |
