ObjectiveTo investigate the current situation of Master of Nursing Specialist in China;to construct the clinical practice mode of "dual-track integration" for Master of Nursing Specialist and evaluate the implementation effect,providing empirical evidence for the docking of nursing graduate education and professional qualification.Methods1 Analysis the current situation training of Master of Nursing Specialist at home and abroadLiterature review was used to analyze the key factors of Master of Nursing Specialist training at home and abroad.The Competency Inventory for Registered and the scale of professional identity assessment of nurses were used to investigate the core competence and professional identity of nurses of domestic Master of Nursing Specialist.A semi-structured interview was conducted on the current situation and influencing factors of the cultivation of postgraduates majoring in nursing in Chongqing Medical University.2 Construction of clinical practice mode of "dual-track integration" for Master of Nursing Specialist.According to stratified education idea,combined with the status quo survey results,nursing professional master degree in China,the graduate student’s clinical experience and learning demand characteristic,the clinical experience in the < 2 years of MNS according to 1 year + 1 year junior nurses standardization training direction to develop mode to complete clinical practice,clinical work experience 2 years or more directly to 2years of specialist nurse training,establish a "dual-track" model of clinical practice.Evaluation of the implementation effect of "dual-track integration" clinical practice mode for MNS.3.Evaluation of the implementation effect of "dual-track integration" clinical practice mode for postgraduates with master’s degree in nursingMNS before and after the implementation of "dual-track integration" clinical practice mode were investigated by using "China registered nurse core competence scale","nurse professional identity assessment scale" and "internship satisfaction questionnaire",to evaluate the implementation effect of "dual-track integration" clinical practice mode.Results1 The current situation of the cultivation of postgraduates with master’s degree in nursing at home and abroadThe foreign graduate nursing education system is perfect,which realizes the effective connection between graduate education and the training of specialized nurses.The total score of the Competency Inventory for Registered of 193 Master of Nursing Specialist from 12 universities in China is 124.04 ± 31.36,and the total score of professional identity is102.64±15.77.Before enrollment the score of core competence of students with clinical work experience is 124.81 ± 32.33,and the total score of professional identity is 103.56 ± 17.69.Students without clinical work experience scored 123.27±30.88 in core competence and 102.14±14.67 in professional identity.24 nursing teachers and students participated in qualitative interview,and four themes were condensed:(1)clinical practice training and department arrangement lack of pertinence;(2)the teaching ability of clinical teachers varies;(3)the evaluation method can not reflect the true level of students;(4)nursing graduate education and vocational qualification has not yet achieved effective convergence.2 Construction of clinical practice mode of "dual-track integration" for Master of Nursing SpecialistThis study constructed a "dual-track" clinical practice mode from eight aspects,including training objectives,specialty direction,enrollment characteristics,clinical practice base and clinical teacher resource management,rotation departments and time arrangement,clinical practice content and requirements,assessment and evaluation,and guarantee mechanism.The clinical practice of postgraduates with clinical work experience less than 2 years before entering the school was connected with the standardized training of nurses in chongqing,and the certificate of standardized training of nurses in chongqing was obtained.For postgraduates with more than 2 years of clinical work experience and specialized nurse training docking,chongqing specialized nurse training certificate.3 Implementation effect of "dual-track integration" clinical practice mode9 graduate students of the 2016 grade implemented the clinical practice mode of "dual-track integration",and the total score of the core competence of nurses was 144.44±25.27,higher than 119.78±29.46 and128.59±25.07 before implementation the 2014 grade and 2015 grade,and the difference was statistically significant.The scores of professional identity of the 2016 grade,the 2015 grade and the 2014 grade were102.88±12.09,101.14 ±13.70 and 102.50±14.43 respectively,which with no statistical significance.The result of standardized training and assessment of professional degree graduate nurses is higher than the other students in the same period.All the students were satisfied with the "dual-track" clinical practice mode.Conclusion1 The core competency of Master of Nursing Specialist are at a medium level in China,and there is a certain gap between them and the requirements of talent training objectives.2 The clinical practice mode of "dual-track integration" constructed according to the theory of stratified education can meet the learning needs of graduate students from different sources and improve the core competence of nurses.3 The clinical practice training mode of "dual-track integration" for postgraduates with master’s degree in nursing has realized the effective connection between graduate education and professional qualification. |
