Background At present, there is a lack of attention to people with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction and anxiety and depression, and there are few studies on this aspect. Objective To study the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction and anxiety and depression, and to provide references for the treatment of such people.Methods(1)Patients admitted to the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of Renhe Hospital Affiliated to China Three Gorges University from December 2019 to December 2020,diagnosed with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, combined with anxiety and depression, were selected as the subjects.(2)Patients were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group. The control group received conventional treatment only, and the experimental group received cognitive behavioral intervention therapy for 6months on the basis of conventional treatment, and patients in the two groups were followed up.(3)Baseline data of patients were collected, such as age, gender, education level, occupation, smoking history, medication history, etc.Left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP),grade of cardiac function in New York heart association(NYHA),6-minute walking distance(6MWD),Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)scores,Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)scores, and Kansas city cardiomyopathy questionnaire(KCCQ-12)score were compared at admission and 6 months after discharge.SPSS 19.0 software was used for statistical analysis. To understand whether anxiety and depression symptoms and prognosis of such patients can be improved after treatment with cognitive behavioral therapy. Results After 6 months of cognitive behavioral therapy intervention, compared with the control group, the compliance of the experimental group was significantly improved, the HAMA and HAMD scores were significantly decreased, and the KCCQ-12 score,NT-pro BNP,LVEF,and NYHA grading were significantly improved. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).But the improvement of 6MWD was not significant, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Cognitive behavioral therapy can improve the anxiety and depression symptoms, heart function and quality of life in patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction and anxiety and depression, and can increase patient compliance. In clinical practice, attention should be paid to the screening of anxiety and depression disorders in such people, and cognitive behavioral therapy can be used to improve.
