| Objective:To analyze and compare clinical characteristics of ulcerative colitis,Chron’s disease, inflammatory bowel disease unclassified, intestinal Behcet’s disease, intestinal tuberculosis and ischemic bowel disease, and explore correlation between disease and the clinical feature. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed clinical data of 265 patients admitted to the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from December 2010 to October 2019.Results:The mean age of onset and male-to-female ratio was different between diseases.Abdominal pain was common among these diseases, diarrhea was common in ulcerative colitis(101,53.7%),inflammatory bowel disease unclassified(8,66.7%)and ischemic bowel disease(6,30.0%).Mucous or purulent bloody stools(121,64.4%)was the primary symptom of ulcerative colitis and hemafecia(16,80.0%)was secondary in ischemic bowel disease.Chronic gastritis was the most common comorbidity of these diseases except Chron’s disease.Alteration of intestinal flora was common in ulcerative colitis(26,13.8%)and inflammatory bowel disease unclassified(6,50.0%).The ileocecal area and entire colon were observed in all diseases, however, ileocecal area was common most in Chron’s disease(9,75%),inflammatory bowel disease unclassified(8,66.7%),intestinal Behcet’s disease(21,91.3%)and intestinal tuberculosis(10,100%).Rectum(99,52.7%)and extensive colon(9,45.0%)was predominant in ulcerative colitis and ischemic bowel disease, respectively.Solitary sigmoid colon(2,10.0%)was only observed in ischemic bowel disease. Conclusion:Although comorbidities are non-specific sometimes, there is a correlation between age of onset, gender, symptoms, lesion sites and the disease. It can be fulfilled to identify the cause of colorectal ulcer after comprehensively analyzing these clinical features. |
