| Objective: To analyze the amplitude of low frequency fluctuation(ALFF)and functional connectivity(FC)of whole brain changes in adolescent patients with obsessive-compulsive disorders(OCD)by using the resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI),and to explore the relation of cerebral spontaneous nerve activity changes between obsessive-compulsive symptoms in adolescent patients with OCD,thus providing neuroimaging evidence for adolescent patients with OCD.Methods: Thirty adolescent patients with OCD were collected to the study as the case group from Psychological Clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University from November 2019 to December 2020.At the same time,27 healthy volunteers matched with gender, age, degree of education and handedness were recruited as the control group. The obsessive-compulsive symptoms of the two groups were evaluated based on the Yale-Brown Obsessive-Compulsive Scale(Y-BOCS).All the subjects who met the criteria had been received rs-fMRI scanning with the GE 3.0T HDxt magnetic resonance imaging system. All rs-fMRI data were preprocessed with DPARSF 4.3 and SPM12 software packages based on MATLAB2014 a platform, and then DPARSF 4.3 software was used to calculate the ALFF value of each voxel in the whole brain. Two samples t-test was conducted the difference of ALFF value between the two groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between ALFF value and Y-BOCS total score in the abnormal brain area of the case group. The abnormal brain regions related to the total score of Y-BOCS were used as regions of interest(ROI)for whole brain functional connectivity, two samples t-test was conducted the difference of the functional connectivitys between the two groups. In this study,P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: There was significant difference in the total score of Y-BOCS between the case group and the control group(P < 0.05),but there were no significant difference in gender, age and degree of education between the two groups(P > 0.05).In the case group, the brain regions with increased ALFF values were right middle temporal gyrus, inferior orbitofrontal gyrus and left inferior frontal gyrus triangle, while ALFF values decreased in right precentral gyrus, left precuneus, putamen and middle occipital gyrus(FDR correction,P < 0 05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the value of ALFF in the left precuneus was negative correlation with the total score of Y-BOCS(r =-0.707,P < 0.05).The functional connectivity of the left precuneus to the left superior orbitofrontal gyrus, left anterior cingulate gyrus and right cerebellar area VIII were increased, while the functional connectivity to the right dorsolateral superior frontal gyrus, right middle temporal gyrus, left middle occipital gyrus, right medial superior frontal gyrus and right posterior cingulate gyrus were decreased(FDR correction,P < 0 05).Conclusion:(1)Adolescent patients with OCD involved abnormal spontaneous nerve activity in brain regions in resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging.(2)The changes of the left precuneus ALFF value had relation with obsessive-compulsive symptoms in adolescent patients with OCD.(3)There are multiple abnormal functional connectivitys of brain regions in adolescent patients with OCD in resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging, and the abnormal functional connectivity of default network may be related to the pathophysiological mechanism of adolescent patients with OCD. |
