| BackgroundStroke is the first chronic disease that seriously endangers people’s physical and mental health, with the highest rate of death and disability. After stroke, most patients will experience varying degrees of loss of labor force and inability to take care of themselves.Family members are the main caregivers of patients after the disease and play an important role in the later rehabilitation of patients.Due to the rapid onset of stroke patients, many complications, and certain limitations in the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of the disease, family caregivers often feel at a loss during the care of the patients, prone to a sense of disease uncertainty, which affects the patients’ rehabilitation and quality of life in the later period. At present, there are few research reports on illness uncertainty of family caregivers and the variables are relatively single. Is there any interaction between illness uncertainty,self-efficacy and mental resilience? Is it a factor? The specific relationship research needs to be further discussed.ObjectiveInvestigate the status quo of self-efficacy,psychological resilience and disease uncertainty of family caregivers of stroke patients;analyze the influencing factors of self-efficacy,psychological resilience and disease uncertainty of family caregivers of stroke patients and the correlation between the three.Provide a theoretical basis for helping family caregivers of stroke patients to improve self-efficacy,reduce disease uncertainty, and improve mental flexibility.Methods1.Using the cross-sectional survey method, select the caregivers of the family members of stroke patients who were hospitalized in three tertiary hospitals in a certain city from July 1,2019 to January 1,2020,and conduct a questionnaire survey.2.The questionnaire includes the demographic and sociological data questionnaire of the patient’s family caregivers, the research object disease-related data questionnaire, the disease uncertainty scale, the mental resilience scale, the general self-efficacy scale, and the ability of daily living rating scale.3.Use SPSS23.0 software to carry on statistical analysis to the survey data.Counting data is described by frequency and composition ratio, and measurement data is described by mean ± standard deviation.4.The comparison of two sample means adopts t test, and the comparison of multiple sample means adopts analysis of variance.Single factor analysis is carried out on the influencing factors of family caregivers’ self-efficacy,mental flexibility, and disease uncertainty, and multiple linear regression methods are applied to life Multi-factor analysis of influencing factors for quality.Pearson correlation test was performed for the correlation analysis of bivariate normal distribution data.Result1.The average self-efficacy score of caregivers of family members of stroke patients is(22.42 ± 5.47)points,and most of the subjects in this survey have low self-efficacy scores. The main influencing factors include medical payment methods, the patient’s ability of daily living and gender.Among them, the medical payment method and the ability of daily living are negatively correlated with the score.2.The total score for the mental resilience of family caregivers is(68.27 ± 10.57)points,and the average score for each item is(2.73±0.46)points;the toughness dimension score ranges from 16 to 54,and the total score is(34.01±6.02)points.The average score of each item is(2.62±0.45)points;the self-improvement dimension score ranges from 11 to 32,the total score is(23.86±4.18)points,and the average score of each item is(2.98±0.34)points;the optimistic dimension score ranges from 4 to 16.The total score is(10.47± 2.40)points,and the average score of each item is(2.62 ± 0.55)points.The main influencing factors include daily living ability, education level and daily care time(P<0.05),among which daily living ability is negatively correlated with mental resilience score.3.The actual scores of family members and caregivers of stroke patients for illness uncertainty range from 45 to 99,with an average of(68.08±10.89)points.Among them, the ambiguity dimension score is(41.14 ± 6.15)points,and the complexity dimension score is(24.26±5.18)points.Among them, family members have a moderate degree of disease certainty, accounting for 95.7% of the total number of people. The main influencing factors include the ability of daily living, education level and daily care time(P<0.05).Among them, the ability of daily life and education level are negatively correlated with the score of disease uncertainty.4.The self-efficacy of family caregivers of stroke patients was negatively correlated with the total score of disease uncertainty(P<0.01),and the depression of family caregivers of stroke patients was positively correlated with the total score of mental resilience(P<0.01).ConclusionThe self-efficacy scores of family caregivers of stroke patients are at a low level, and the average scores of disease uncertainty and mental resilience are at a moderate level. The self-efficacy and psychological resilience of the caregivers of the family members of stroke patients are negatively correlated with the uncertainty of the disease, and the self-efficacy and the psychological resilience of the family caregivers of stroke patients are positively correlated.Self-efficacy and psychological flexibility will affect the degree of uncertainty of illness among family caregivers to a certain extent. |
