Objective:A retrospective analysis of the indications and advantages and disadvantages of laparoscopic lateral suspension with mesh(group A)and transvaginal mesh(group B)for the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse,so as to provide a theoretical basis for choosing an appropriate surgical method in clinical work. Methods:A total of 40 subjects were included in this study, all of whom were selected from the first Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from May 2020 to December 2020 and were diagnosed with pelvic organ prolapse.Among them,15 patients underwent laparoscopic lateral suspension with mesh,25 patients underwent transvaginal mesh.Collect general data of research objects for statistical analysis. The POP-Q and trans perineal pelvic floor ultrasound were used to measure the prolapse of the pelvic organs before and after the operation.Analysis of perioperative parameters, surgical complications, etc. The postoperative recurrence and complications were followed up at 1,3,6,and 12 months after surgery to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two surgical procedures. Finally, two scales,PFIQ-7 and PISQ-12,were used to evaluate the subjective curative effect after surgery.Results:1.Trans perineal pelvic floor ultrasound can provide valuable information about pelvic organ prolapse(P<0.01).2.Two groups of patients with prolapse of anterior and middle pelvic organs after operation was significantly improved(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).3.The comparison of intraoperative blood loss and hospitalization days showed that group A was better than B,but group A took longer to operate, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.PFIQ-7 and PISQ-12 questionnaire scores showed that the postoperative quality of life was significantly improved for both two groups(P<0.01).5.The postoperative recurrence and complications between both groups were no difference(P>0.05).Conclusions:For patients with anterior and middle pelvic organ prolapse,Laparoscopic lateral suspension with mesh and Transvaginal mesh have the same curative effect. Both can treat prolapse symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients. But the former is easier to operate, less bleeding during the operation, and easy to learn and promote.
