Objective:This article is writed to investigate the demographic data, disease characteristics, personality characteristics and some prognostic indicators of patients with ischemic stroke;to analyze the personality characteristics of patients with ischemic stroke at discharge and the influencing factors of each dimension scale;the changes of personality dimensions and scores of prognostic indicators at discharge and 6 months after discharge of different personalities were compared;to explore the correlation between personality characteristics and disease prognosis in patients with ischemic stroke;to provide a theoretical basis for guiding psychological nursing of patients with ischemic stroke and improving their psychosomatic prognosis. Methods:A total of 255 patients with ischemic stroke admitted to the First Department of Neurology,Dongguan Branch,Affiliated Hospital of Yan ’an University,Baota District,Yan ’an City,Shaanxi Province from June 2019 to October 2020 were selected as subjects. The self-designed general information questionnaire was used to investigate the demographic data and disease characteristics of patients with ischemic stroke.Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-Chinese Version(EPQ-RSC)was used to investigate the personality characteristics of patients with ischemic stroke. The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),Activity of Daily Living Scale(ADL),Modified Rankin Scale(m RS),Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)were used to investigate the prognosis of patients with ischemic stroke.IBM SPSS 22.0was used for data entry and statistical analysis.Descriptive statistical method was used to analyze the distribution of personality characteristics, the demographic data and disease characteristics of patients with ischemic stroke. The t test, variance analysis,chi-square test and multiple linear regression analysis were used to compare the differences between the personality dimensions of patients with ischemic stroke and the national norm. The influencing factors of personality dimensions were analyzed based on the demographic data and disease characteristics. The changes of personality dimensions of patients with ischemic stroke at discharge and 6 months after discharge were compared. The scores of prognostic indicators at discharge and 6 months after discharge were compared. The distribution of prognostic indicators at discharge and 6 months after discharge were compared.Pearson correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between personality characteristics and prognosis in patients with ischemic stroke.Results:1.Compared with the national norm, the score of introversion and extroversion of ischemic stroke patients was lower than the national norm, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The scores of neuroticism and concealment were higher than the national norm, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There were 87 patients with introversion instability, accounting for 36.1 %.2.The scores of personality dimensions in patients with ischemic stroke atdischarge and in the sixth month after discharge were compared, and the scores of neuroticism in patients with extroversion stability were significantly different(P < 0.05).The scores of introversion and extroversion in patients with introversion stability were different, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was a significant difference in the neuroticism scores of patients with extroversion instability(P < 0.05).There were significant differences in neuroticism scores and concealment scores in patients with introversion instability(P < 0.05).3.Educational level has an effect on psychoticism score in patients with ischemic stroke, which can explain 1.4 % of the change in psychoticism score;Place of residence, care style and concomitant diseases had an impact on the scores of introversion and extroversion in patients with ischemic stroke, which could explain 2.6 % of the changes in introversion and extroversion scores.Gender, smoking,ADL score and stroke location all had effects on the neuroticism score of patients with ischemic stroke, which could explain 4.4 % of the change in neuroticism score.Education level has an effect on the concealment score of ischemic stroke patients, which can explain 1.1 % of the change in concealment score.4.Compared the distribution of each prognostic indicator between the patients with ischemic stroke at discharge and the sixth month after discharge, the distribution of NIHSS score,ADL score and m RS score in patients with extroversion stability was significantly different(P < 0.05).There were significant differences in the distribution of NIHSS score,ADL score,m RS score,SDS score and SAS score in patients with introversion stability(P < 0.05).There were differences in NIHSS score,ADL score,m RS score,SDS score and SAS score in patients with extroversion instability, and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).There were significant differences in NIHSS score,ADL score,m RS score,SDS score and SAS score in patients with introversion instability(P < 0.05).The comparison of the scores of various prognostic indicators in patients with ischemic stroke of different personalities in the sixth month after discharge suggested that the NIHSS score,ADL score,m RS score,SDS score and SAS score of patients with different personalities were different, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.The results of correlation analysis showed that m RS and SAS were positively correlated with psychoticism scores(P < 0.05),ADL was negatively correlated with psychoticism scores(P < 0.05),ADL was positively correlated with introversion and extroversion scores(P < 0.05),NIHSS,m RS,SDS and SAS were negatively correlated with introversion and extroversion scores(P < 0.05),NIHSS,SDS and SAS were positively correlated with neuroticism scores(P < 0.05),ADL was negatively correlated with neuroticism scores(P < 0.05),SDS was positively correlated with concealment scores(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The personality characteristics of patients with ischemic stroke are introverted, neurotic and masked, and the main personality type is introversion instability.2.Compared with the patients at discharge, the emotions of patients with extroversion stability and extroversion instability tend to be unstable in the sixth month after discharge;Patients with introversion stability personality more introverted;Patients with introversion instability have the characteristics of both emotional instability and increased concealment.3.Education level affects the scores of psychoticism and concealment in patients with ischemic stroke. The residence, care style and concomitant diseases jointly affect the introversion and extroversion scores of patients with ischemic stroke.Gender, smoking,ADL scores and stroke location affect the neuroticism scores of patients with ischemic stroke.4.The prognosis of extroversion instability group and introversion instability group is generally worse than that of extroversion stability group and introversion stability group.5.The higher the scores of psychoticism, neuroticism and concealment in patients with ischemic stroke were, the worse the recovery of neurological function and activities of daily living were. The lower the scores of introversion and extroversion were, the more severe the depression and anxiety were.
