| Objective:This study retrospectively analyzed the medical records of 60 patients with colorectal cancer and detected the expression of IL-17A and CD206 in colorectal cancer and normal tissues, and explored and studied the expression of Th17 and M2 cells in the tumor microenvironment in colorectal cancer tissues. The relevance of its clinicopathological characteristics. Methods:The clinical medical records of patients with colorectal cancer who were admitted to the Gastrointestinal Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January 1,2020 to December 31,and received their first resection of colorectal cancer and their postoperative clinicopathological diagnosis were collected.Finally,60 patients with colorectal cancer who met the requirements were included as the research objects.According to the corresponding medical record information, all the tumor tissue wax blocks and the corresponding wax blocks of normal intestinal tissue were collected from the specimen bank. The expression levels of IL-17A and CD206 in colorectal cancer tissues and normal intestinal tissues were detected by immunohistochemical staining(HIC),and compared with clinicopathological characteristics(age, sex, tumor location, size, degree of differentiation and pathological stage,etc.).Results:A total of 60 patients with colorectal cancer were included in this study, including 29 males and 31 females. The positive expressions of IL-17A and CD206 in colorectal cancer tissues were 42 cases(70%)and 32 cases(53.3%)respectively,which were significantly higher than 17 cases(28.3%)and 10 cases(16.7%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The positive expression of IL-17A is correlated with the degree of tumor differentiation of colorectal cancer(P=0.033),clinicopathological stage(P=0.017)and lymph node metastasis(P=0.021);it is related to gender, age, primary tumor location,There was no significant difference in tumor maximum diameter, nerve infiltration, vascular infiltration, and distant metastasis of the tumor, and it was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The positivity of CD206 is correlated with the degree of tumor differentiation(P<0.001),clinicopathological stage(P<0.001)and lymph node metastasis(P<0.001);it is related to gender, age, primary tumor location, tumor maximum diameter, and nerve infiltration There is no significant difference in vascular invasion and distant metastasis of tumor, and it is not statistically significant(P>0.05).Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that the expression of IL-17A and CD206 was positively correlated(r=0.335,P=0.009),and positively correlated with the clinicopathological stage of colorectal cancer(r=0.550,P<0.001).Conclusion(s):1.The expression of Th17 in colorectal cancer tissues is higher than that in the distal normal intestine tissues. The higher the expression of Th17,the later the stage of tumor patients, the lower the degree of differentiation.2.The polarization of M2 cells in colorectal cancer tissues is higher than that in the distal normal intestinal tissues. The higher the expression of M2,it is suggested that the later the stage of tumor patients, the lower the degree of differentiation.3.In colorectal cancer,Th17 and M2 macrophages are positively correlated. When both are expressed, the stage of colorectal cancer patients becomes later. |
