Analysis Of IL-11 Expression In Tumor Tissue And Its Correlation With Pathological Grade | | Posted on:2022-10-22 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:J S Cheng | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2504306344494594 | Subject:Clinical Medicine | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective:a large number of studies have shown that it is closely related to Interleukin 11(IL-11)in the occurrence,development and metastasis of malignant tumors.Glioma is one of the most common primary brain tumors,which is difficult to remove completely by surgery and has a poor prognosis.This study intends to detect the expression of IL-11 in tumor tissues of different grades of glioma and analyze the correlation with the grade of tumor malignancy,in order to provide new ideas for exploring the occurrence and development of glioma.Methods:a total of 46 cases of paraffin-embedded specimens stored in the hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 after surgical removal of glioma tissue were collected.The postoperative pathological biopsy confirmed that they were all gliomas.10 cases of non-tumor brain tissues were derived from brain tissues that were excised by intracranial decompression surgery from January 2020 to January 2021 due to simple craniocerebral trauma,and were embedded and stored in paraffin.Experimental methods: All immunohistochemical methods were used,and the expression of IL-11 in each group of specimens was observed under a microscope.The mean±standard deviation is used to describe the distribution of quantitative data that obeys the normal distribution,the independent sample t-test is used to compare the differences between groups,the median and quartiles are used to describe the distribution of non-normally distributed quantitative data,and the rank sum test is used for comparison For differences between groups,frequency and composition ratio were used to describe the distribution of qualitative data,rank sum test was used to compare differences between groups,and spearman correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between expression level and tumor malignancy.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS24.0.Results:1.IL-11 was significantly expressed in all grades of glioma(P<0.001);2.No significant expression was found in non-tumor brain tissue;3.IL-11 protein expression level in the high-grade glioma group Significantly higher than the low-grade glioma group;4.The expression level of IL-11 was positively correlated with the malignancy of the tumor(P<0.05).Conclusions:interleukin 11 is closely related to the development of glioma.IL-11 is not expressed in normal brain tissues,but is highly expressed in gliomas,and the expression rate and intensity of expression are positively correlated with the degree of malignancy.It is a tumor-promoting factor. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | interleukin11, Glioma, Pathological grade, Immunohistochemistry | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
