| Objective: To analyze the clinical features and risk factors of frequent peritoneal dialysis associated peritonitis(PDAP).Methods: The clinical data of 84 patients with PDAP were retrospectively analyzed.According to the frequency of occurrence of PDAP per year, they were divided into the incidental group(1 / year)and the frequent group(≥2 / year),and the differences between the two groups and the related risk factors leading to the frequent occurrence of PDAP were discussed. Results: Among the 84 PDAP patients,53 were males and 31 were females, with an average age of 49.91±10.56 years(40-60 years). There was no statistical difference. There were significant differences in urea nitrogen, platelet, serum potassium, serum phosphorus and albumin between the two groups(P<0.05).There were 58 cases in the incidental group and 26 cases in the frequent group. There were no statistical differences between the two groups in gender, age, abdominal pain, diarrhea, peritoneal fluid turbidity and fever.Logistic regression analysis showed that low platelet, low albumin and low blood potassium were the risk factors for frequent peritonitis. Conclusion:The main risk factors of frequent peritonitis are low blood potassium, low platelet and low albumin.Improved nutritional status can help restore low albumin, low blood potassium, and low platelet levels, reducing the risk of peritonitis. |
