Objective:Objective to study the differences of smoking intensity and low density lipoprotein cholesterol level among men with different severity of coronary artery disease. Methods: 653 patients who were hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2019 to March 2020 were collected retrospectively. The blood samples were collected to measure biochemical blood glucose, triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein(HDL-C),and the surgical record was collected. The severity of coronary artery disease was quantified and evaluated by Gensini integral. The smoking intensity was calculated by smoking index.According to the number of coronary artery disease,it can be divided into two groups: single and double branch lesions and multiple branches. The general data and risk factors between the two groups were compared.Gensini score was divided into four parts method, with one group(< 6 points),2 groups(6-23 points),3 groups(23-49 points),4 groups(≥ 49 points),and the general data analysis among the groups was compared, and further correlation analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were carried out.According to the smoking index, the group was divided into two groups: high smoking index(smoking index ≥ 400),non high smoking index(smoking index < 400),comparing the general data and risk factors between the two groups, and analyzing the correlation, further grouping of high smoking index and parallel general data analysis. The ldl-c1 group(< 1.92mmol/h),ldl-c2 group(1.92-2.78mmol/h),ldl-c3 group(2.78-3.32mmol/h),LDL C4 group(≥ 3.32mmol/h)were divided into four quantile groups, and the general data among the groups were compared. Results: smoking index and LDL-C levels were significantly different in male population with coronary artery disease of different severity.Smoking intensity was positively correlated with severity of disease(r = 0.124,P = 0.001).Results:There were significant differences in smoking index and LDL-C level among men with different severity of coronary artery disease.Smoking intensity was positively correlated with the severity of coronary artery disease(r = 0.124,P = 0.001).Conclusion:There were significant differences in smoking intensity and LDL-C level among men with different severity of coronary artery disease.
