Objective: This topic through the application of modified Huanglian decoction and Yangpixiaoji pill in the treatment of children’s functional dyspepsia(mixed type of cold and heat),comparing the treatment of the two groups of Western medicine symptoms points,TCM symptoms points and the improvement of various clinical indicators, objective evaluation of modified Huanglian decoction treatment of children’s functional dyspepsia clinical efficacy and drug safety,in order to provide new methods for clinical treatment. Methods: According to Rome IV standard of children’s functional gastroenteropathy and the diagnostic standard of mixed cold and heat Functional Dyspepsia, will integrate this experimental study 70 example trouble to use the stochastic tables law to divide into two groups stochastically(experimental group and control group),each group of each 35 examples, the experimental group will give the oral modified Huanglian decoction, the control group takes oral Yangpixiaoji pill, two groups will treat 2 treatment courses, after the observation treatment first and last groups trouble overall curative effect, the doctor practicing western medicine symptom total integral, the Chinese medicine card period of five days total integral, each clinical target(postprandial fullness, early satiety, upper abdominal pain, epigastric distention and pain, dementia, nausea and vomiting, belching, dry mouth and bitter mouth, loose stool)the integral and adverse reactions, uses the statistical method to carry on the data analysis, and according to the curative effect and syndrome evaluation standard, draw a conclusion.Results:1.Baseline data comparison: Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in gender, age, course of disease, total score of symptoms of Western medicine, total score of syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine and scores of clinical indexes(P > 0.05),the results showed that the balance of the experimental group and the control group was comparable.2.Intra-group comparison: After Treatment, the scores of symptoms of Western medicine,TCM syndromes and clinical symptoms(postprandial fullness, early satiety, upper abdominal pain, epigastric distention and pain, dementia, nausea and vomiting, belching, dry mouth and bitter mouth, loose stool)in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05),the results showed that both modified Huanglian decoction and Yangpixiaoji pill could effectively improve the symptoms and signs of children.3.Comparison between groups: After treatment, the total scores of symptoms and signs of Western medicine in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),which showed that the experimental group was better than the control group in improving the overall symptoms and signs of children. After treatment, there were significant differences in early satiety, upper abdominal pain, dementia, nausea and vomiting, belching, dry mouth and bitter mouth(P < 0.05),there were no significant difference in postprandial fullness, epigastric distention and pain, and loose stool(P >0.05),it shows that the effect of modified Huanglian decoction is better than that of Yangpixiaoji pill in improving children’s early satiety, upper abdominal pain, dementia, nausea and vomiting, belching, dry mouth and bitter mouth, while that of modified Huanglian decoction and Yangpixiaoji pill had similar therapeutic effects in improving children’s postprandial fullness, epigastric distention and pain, and loose stool.4.Overall efficacy comparison: After two courses of treatment, the total effective rate was 97.1% in the test group and 84.8% in the control group. The difference between the two groups was significant by Mann-Whitney test(P<0.05),it shows that the overall efficacy of modified Huanglian decoction is better than Yangpixiaoji pill in the treatment of functional dyspepsia in children.5.Safety Comparison: During the study, there were no adverse reactions in the two groups. Conclusion:Modified Huanglian decoction is more effective in treating functional dyspepsia in children with Cold-heat Syndrome than Yangpi Xiaoji pill.
