Atrial fibrillation seriously imposes destructive impact on the health.Currently,the radiofrequency catheter ablation is the best treatment in terms of the atrial fibrillation.Due to the invisibility of the catheter in the cardiovascular system,the lack of training before operation and the insufficient planning of the route of the catheter,the operation process is time-consuming.Furth more,the postoperative recurrence,and complications occurs frequently.This paper focuses on the key technologies involved in the simulating training system for ablation,which aims to provide a preoperative training environment for doctors.Not only to the improve of ablation operation skill,the related technologies can also provide the foundation for the subsequent research on digital auxiliary system.The vitro simulating training process is realized based on constructed virtual training environment and hardware.The efficient 3D heart model construction,the selection of model nodes and the retrieving of coordinates of the nodes are implemented in the virtual training environment.The display of ablation mapping area and the path drawing of catheter are also provided.The hardware of the training system is built in the same proportion as the patient based on the posture during the operation,which includes the cardiovascular model with adjustable posture,the personalized cardiovascular model supporting platform and the training catheter.The interface between the hardware and the virtual training environment is realized by means of the binocular stereo vision subsystem and the technologies of spatial registration and 3D model reconstruction to ensure the fluent information flow.The mapping area is confirmed and displayed on the surface of cardiac model in virtual training environment based on the principle that atrial fibrillation is caused by ectopic irregular fast pulse.The ideal path for the ablation catheter is drawn on the conduction path of irregular fast pulse to enable the training process in hardware training system referring to the ideal path.In the course of training process,a series of training images are collected by binocular stereo vision system to calculate the coordinates of the head of the training catheter in the world coordinate system,which can be used to fit the training path in the virtual training environment.By comparing the training path with the ideal path,the training effect can be evaluated.By using the heart model of typical cases to perform training according to the path planned before operation,the operation skills for the ablation catheter are learned intuitively.Moreover,the efficiency and quality of the real surgery operation is improved by means of the pre-operation training.
