| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of bone-setting technique combined with elastic intramedullary needle internal fixation in the treatment of femoral shaft fracture in children, and to compare it with open reduction and locking compression plate internal fixation,so as to provide reference for clinical treatment. Methods: a total of 40 cases of femoral shaft fractures admitted to the pediatric orthopaedic ward of shandong university of traditional Chinese medicine from October 2017 to October 2018 were summarized. They were divided into two groups: 20 cases of manipulative reduction combined with TEN group(observation group)and 20 cases of LCP group(control group).Recording the patient’s hospitalization time, operation time, surgical incision length, intraoperative blood loss, wound healing, postoperative braking time, fracture healing time, postoperative complications and limb function recovery to evaluate the effect of the two treatment methods. Results: there were statistically significant differences in hospital stay, operation time, incision length, intraoperative blood loss, braking time and fracture healing time between the two groups(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Using the efficacy standard for femoral shaft fracture proposed by Flyn to evaluate the treatment effect. The excellent and good rate of TEN group and LCP group achieved respectively 90% and 95%.The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.Both TEN and LCP in the treatment of femoral shaft fractures in children finally curative effect have no significant difference.2.Bone-setting technique of TCM combined with elastic intramedullary needle internal fixation has the advantages of minimally invasive and convenient operation, and can reduce the damage to the biological environment, reduce intraoperative bleeding, shorten the length of stay, accelerate the process of fracture healing, and facilitate early limb function exercise. So the indications are met as well as the medical treatment... |
