Objective:To investigate the risk factors of post-stroke epilepsy(PSE)and the correlation between PSE and types of TCM syndromes and TCM symdrome factors.Reviewing the literatures about PSE to investigate the etiology and pathogenesis about PSEMethod:Collecting the clincal information of 108 stroke patients and 112 PSE patients treated in WeiFang TCM hospital from September 2015 to January 2020 to do retrospective analysis.Analyzing the data of patients about sex、age、bloodpressure、types of stroke、position of stroke and their TCM symdrome factors to investigate the relationship between them and PSE.Collecting TCM classical literature and contemporary research results to review on their theories about PSEResults:1.There are no significant difference in gender and age between the PSE group and stroke group.2.High NIHSS scores、hemorrhagic stroke、high bloodpressure、cortical injury are associated with PSE(P<0.05)Frontal lobe injury、temporal lobe injury patients have higher risk of PSE 3.The disease location symdrome factors "liver" and "spleen" are associated with PSE(P<0.05).The TCM symdrome factors "heart"、"kidney"、" lung"are not significantly associated with PSE(P>0.05).4 The TCM symdrome factors"phlegm" and "blood-stasis" are most common in PSE and the symdrome factor"blood-stasis" is associ ated with PSE(P<0.05)Conclusion:High NIHSS scores、hemorrhagic stroke、high bloodpressure、cortical injury are associated with PSE.The symdrome factors "liver"、"spleen" and "blood-stasis" are associated with PSE.
