TRIM11 play an important role in many cancers,but the role of TRIM11 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)is still not full understand.In our experiment,we measured the amount of TRIM11 protein in primary and secondary tissues of 115 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma by immunohistochemical staining.CRISPR /Cas9-mediated gene editing technology knocked out TRIM11 to construct S18-KO,5-8F-KD cell lines,thereby testing the effect of TRIM11 on the proliferation and migration of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells,and in drug-resistant cell line CNE1-DDP,CNE2-DDP,knock out TRIM11,use CCK-8 kit to detect cell viability,flow cytometry to detect cell apoptosis,and then study the effect of TRIM11 on resistance to chemotherapy drugs.Compared with tissues of patients with relapsed nasopharyngeal carcinoma,TRIM11 protein levels in tissues of patients with relapsed nasopharyngeal carcinoma were significantly increased.In addition,the knockout of TRIM11 inhibited the migration and invasion of 5-8F and S18 cells,and the resistance of CNE1 and CNE2 to cisplatin was also significantly improved.In conclusion,TRIM11 gene knockdown or knockout reduces migration and invasion of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells.TRIM11 gene knockout enhances the sensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells and tumor-bearing mice to Cisplatin,which has the potential to be a target for the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
