In this paper,the influence of sand therapy on the hemodynamics of femoral artery was studied.According to the actual situation,the vascular model with different atherosclerotic plaques was studied in the curved and bifurcated femoral artery of lower limb of human body,and the hemodynamic influence in the vessels under sand therapy was studied.Based on the research topic,a theoretical study in line with the situation in this paper was carried out,and an experimental study was carried out in an indoor sand therapy room,and the hemodynamic factors in the curved vessels and bifurcated vessels under the condition of femoral artery stenosis under sand therapy were simulated.The results and conclusions of this study are as follows:Influence of sand therapy on hemodynamics of curved femoral artery stenosis :(1)the increase of maximum velocity after sand therapy increased with the increase of stenosis degree.The increase of blood flow velocity has a positive effect on improving blood circulation.At the same time,secondary flows and two vortices will be generated in the low-velocity area of the narrow area.In this area,material deposition will also occur,which may lead to the generation or development of atherosclerosis.(2)The wall shear stress of the femoral artery curved tube increased with the increasing degree of stenosis,and the wall shear stress of the femoral artery curved tube and the blood flow in the artery stenosis after sand treatment increased compared with that before sand treatment.To a certain extent,atherosclerosis diseases can be prevented and inhibited.However,it is worth noting that when the degree of artery stenosis is moderate or above,the wall shear stress after sand treatment is greater than 40 Pa,and there is a risk of plaque peeling.(3)Under the action of sand therapy,the pressure of the femoral artery bending blood vessels increases continuously.However,as the degree of stenosis increases,an axial pressure difference will be generated at the stenosis site.When the pressure difference reaches a certain degree,it is very likely to lead to the compression and collapse of the vessel wall.Influence of sand therapy on hemodynamics of forked femoral artery stenosis :(1)under the action of sand therapy,blood flow velocity,wall shear stress and wall pressure of two types of forked femoral artery stenosis models were increased compared with those before sand therapy.(2)In the case of circumferential femoral artery bifurcation stenosis,the blood flow direction after flowing through the stenosis site is the lateral side of the branch vessels,while in the case of local femoral artery bifurcation stenosis,the blood flow direction after flowing through the stenosis site is the medial side of the branch vessels.(3)By comparing the wall shear stress of the forked femoral artery tube,it can be found that in the case of circumferential stenosis,the wall shear stress is more affected by the artery stenosis.When the degree of stenosis is greater than 30%,the wall shear stress at the stenosis site is greater than 40 Pa,and there is a risk of plaque peeling.When the bifurcation of the femoral artery produces circumferential stenosis,the incidence of detachment of atherosclerotic plaque is much higher than that of local stenosis.
