| Objective To analyze the characteristics of blood microbiome in patients in Department of Pediatrics, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University. Methods Clinical data of 359 patients from 2015 to 2018 were collected.PCR was used to detect the drug-resistant genes of 45 strains.According to the sequencing results of Escherichia coli from the blood culture, the mutations were analyzed. The whole genome sequencing results were collected to analyze the risk factors the bloodstream infection. Results Among the 388 isolates,214 isolates were G+ bacteria,151 isolates were Gbacteria and 23 isolates were fungi.Staphylococcus had high resistance to penicillin, and erythromycin and some nonfermenting gram-negative bacilli have resistance to carbapenem. There were many variants in catalytic activity, ion binding and cell parts of pathogenic Escherichia coli. The severity of bloodstream infection was related to the type of microorganism,CD3-CD19+lymphocytes,complement 4,complement 3 and aspartate aminotransferase.Corynebacterium,Burkholderia and Nocardiaceae were biomarkers of septic shock group, and Mastadenovirus and Moraxella were biomarkers of sepsis group. Conclusion Staphylococcus epidermidis was the main bacteria isolated from pediatric patients.Catalytic activity, ion binding and cell parts of pathogenic Escherichia coli had the most mutations. The severity of bloodstream infection was associated with blood microbiome, immunity and liver function. |
