Study On The Correlation Between The Atopic Traits Of The Print Of Thenar Eminence And Polymorphisms Of ADAM33 Gene (rs554743,rs2853209,rs532448)

Objective: In order to find the basis of medical genetics for the important TCM pathogenesis of asthma,"kidney deficiency",we studied the relationship between the symptoms of the atopic traits of the print of thenar eminence and asthma diseases from the perspective of genetic etiology.Methods: The subjects were divided into three groups according to the observation of symptoms and signs: case group A(confirmed asthma patients+ negative symptoms of the print of thenar eminence),case group B(confirmed asthma patients + positive symptoms of the print of thenar eminence)and control group(normal persons),400 cases in case groups,200 cases in the control group,a total of 600 cases.Each group then stratified the samples according to the classification of the atopic traits of the print of thenar eminence.The peripheral venous blood of the subjects was taken as the test sample,and the genotype of ADAM33 gene and the predicted SNPs loci were detected.Then,according to the genotyping report,SNPs and genetic phenotypes of candidate genes were analyzed.The association between asthma history and the large thenar palmprint symptoms was analyzed to illustrate the corresponding correlation between the large thenar palmprint symptoms and the SNPs locus of the asthma susceptibility gene ADAM33Result: 1.The genotype frequencies of rs554743,rs2853209 and rs532448 all conform to Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium law,which indicates that the results of the report are representative of the population.2.After age and sex correcting,case-control studies were carried out according to asthma history and the symptoms of thenar palmprint.The P values were not less than 0.05.3.The correlation between asthma history and the symptoms of thenar palmprint was tested by Chi-square test.P = 1.99E-37,less than 0.05.Conclusion: There was no significant correlation between the symptoms of thenar palmprint and the polymorphisms of ADAM33 gene rs554743,rs2853209 and rs532448.But there was a correlation between asthma history and symptoms of thenar palmprint.
