The social progress has posed a series of challenges which the human beings has to faced.According to incomplete statistics,the incidence of cardiovascular diseases i s on the rise and nearly one third of all deceased is died of heart diseases per year,whi ch is seriously threatening the health of the human being.C urrently,electrocardiogra m(ECG)is generally used to detect heart disease in clinical diagnosis.However,conv entional bulk,powerful but low-mobility ECG instrument is only applicable to large i nstitutions including hospitals.In this article,the paper proposes to develop ECG dete ction software on Android mobile phones that can detect heart conditions anytime and anywhere,thereby making self-diagnosis the reality.In this article,the author describes knowledge of 12-lead ECG,and designs soft ware.Based on modular design concept,the hardware part as designed consists of suc h modules as A/D conversion,FPGA data acquisition and processing,and USB2.0 dat a transmission.The acquisition chip which is used is ADS 1298 developed by TI,whic h is internally provided with SPI interface with strong compatibility for external com munication.For hardware control,Spartan 6 Xilinx XC6SLX9-TQG144 is used for da ta processing.Spartan 6 transmits data via FT232H interface chip to mobile client.Th e upper computer software is used to receive and analyze data,conduct further filterin g processing,detect QRS group,display the waveforms of 12-lead ECG signals in a re al-time manner,estimate heart rate and store data.
